A whole range of conservative treatment options are available to our patients. Therapeutic gymnastics, therapeutic massage and other physiotherapy treatments are also available as inpatient and outpatient treatments. We set up an individual treatment programme, which is performed under strict medical supervision.
Under the newly introduced complex large joint rehabilitation programme, patients can participate in a 3-day pre-prosthesis treatment, if they wish, before the prosthesis surgery, during which they are provided with the necessary aids, taught how to use them and learn the pre- and post-operative exercises. The surgery is followed by a rehabilitation programme to learn how to live with the prosthesis and to develop a proper harmonious walking pattern.
