Internal Medicine Angiology deals with diseases affecting the arterial and venous-vascular systems. Diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol increase the risk of atherosclerosis and can occur even at a younger age. Internal Medicine Angiology is looking for a non-surgical solution to vascular diseases.
For acute limb ischaemia, clot-busting treatment is applied.
