The Centre has a decades-long tradition of treating patient with kidney diseases. The first kidney biopsy in Hungary was performed here. Treatment with chronic haemodialysis has been available since 1970. The expanded Extracorporeal Organ Replacement Centre will enable even more effective care for patients with kidney failure, where liver replacement and apheresis treatments are also available.
